Jess

Jess has had a fascination with creepy crawlies, reptiles and amphibians since childhood and has cared for a great number of animals over the past 18 years including rescue animals and unwanted pets.

After also working with children for a number of years and observing their natural curiosity of these often misunderstood animals, she decided to use her experience to combine both interests and create Jungle Juniors with her sister Lucy in 2017.

Jess is passionate to encourage children (and adults) to overcome their misconceptions about these amazing and unusual animals and get a better understanding about the important role they each play in their ecosystem.

Lucy

Lucy has been working with exotic animals since the age of 16 and keeping them for even longer. After leaving school she studied Animal Management at college and received a level 3 extended diploma, whilst also working at an exotic pet specialist. She then went on to complete a NVQ level 3 in childcare and worked at a nursery for almost three years. Since then Lucy has gone back to working with animals including dogs and horses. Jungle juniors allows Lucy the opportunity to combine her love for animals and ambition to educate and inspire children.

Josh

Josh has been keeping and working with exotic animals for nearly 20 years, he has a particular fascination with Anacondas and other large snakes. He loves sharing his enthusiasm and admiration for animals with young people in a hope to inspire them to care about conservation in the future.
